Unger Black Feather Hat Original Sample Unger New York

Every now and then you find that simply outstanding piece of history that is sure to please the crowds! This feather hat has the Unger - New York label. It appears to be a Kay Unger design. The label reads "strictly Unger - New York". This feathered beauty stands about 7" tall. The inner circumference is 21". Features black feathers all around the hat over a rich black velvet. Completely lined with a black and white checked fabric. Absolutely excellent condition! Near Mint! I don't think it has been worn. I found two Unger hats. They were together but I am selling them separately. The other hat is a multi-colored feather hat. This on ecomes in the original Unger box! I have a card from the business at 42 W. 58th St. NYC with the Unger name on it. This business sold sample hats, models and oiginals! This one may be one of a kind! It appears to be a sample. The box reads "Strictly from Unger "SAMPLE HATS" - models - originals - 42 West 58th St. NY". The original sales receipt from Ungers is included! It is a beauty from Dena's Vintage Closet!
