How did we manage before the cell phone? Well, there was the "mobile" phone... or the telephone purse! This hard to find beauty is in working order! A genuine retro 70s vintage telephone purse from Dallas Handbags. Just plug it into the nearest phone outlet and you can be in touch with the world in seconds! How cool is that?! You can be the envy of your friends! This bag or tote measures about 15" long by 12" high. It has a 21" high shoulder strap. The inner compartment is one large open compartment with a side pouch. The phone receiver sits on top of the bag and is held in place by a velcro strap. The push button dial is featured on the outside flap. The off/on control is found on the inner flap. This phone has been tested and works great! I have included a new phone cord but will leave the original cord in there as well. This purse is in good vintage condition. There is minor pitting around the metal rings on the front of the purse. I have not attempted to clean them. I will leave that to the new owner. Just a couple of minor spots on the inner lining.
