FAQs

1. To order an item simply click on the ADD TO CART button located in the ad for the item. You may continue shopping until you fill your cart with as many items as you like.
2. When you have made your final selection click "Proceed to Checkout".
3. Click "Checkout". Enter any applicable Promo Code. Click "Proceed to Checkout".
4. New customers may register OR go through express checkout. Existing customers enter your log in information. Enter all shipping/billing information on one page. Click "Place your Order" and your payment is completed!

How do I know that a garment will fit?

Please see my SIZING page and learn more about how to measure. Note: Vintage sizes are NOT the same as modern sizes.

Which payment methods do you accept?

I accept credit cards (Master Card, Visa & 
American Expresss) and money orders. Sorry, no checks will be accepted.

Do you ship internationally?

I ship worldwide to my international customers! I only ship USPS Global Priority shipping unless the item weighs over 4 lbs. or will not fit into the Global Priority box. Over 4 lbs. ships USPS Air Parcel Post.

What is your return policy?

Each item is carefully examined before it is added to Dena's Vintage Closet inventory. Any imperfection is noted in the ad for the item. Most items are sold as we find them. Many items are laundered if they are machine washable. Most dry cleanable items are steamed but not dry cleaned. Laundering and dry cleaning is recommended upon arrival of your garment purchase. Please make your selections carefully and compare the actual measurements of the garment with your actual measurements. I do not guarantee fit so please be sure of your measurements. See our SIZING page for more information.

All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. (There are few exceptions with large or heavy items such as luggage, etc.) For International shoppers, I ship via USPS Global Priority, Global Express or via Airmail. OVERNIGHT SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE TO U.S. CUSTOMERS ONLY. No returns on overnight shipments – ALL OVERNIGHT SALES ARE FINAL. NO EXCEPTIONS. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Insurance is added to all purchases over $25.00. ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES. NO RETURNS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Be sure of your purchase prior to completing it. E-mail any questions to admin@denasvintagecloset.com  You are important to our business and we want you to be happy with every purchase. Although a return is rare, should there be a problem with your purchase, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the package stating why you would like for us to authorize a return. You must get authorization before returning an item. If a return is authorized simply return it to us in the same unworn condition as you received it for a refund or an in store credit.

We do not reimburse shipping! All refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned unless we made a mistake in the description. In that case, we will give a full refund.

Refunds are determined on a case by case basis and may be given at the discretion of the management of Dena's Vintage Closet.

How long will it take to receive my items?

Orders usually ship within 2-3 business days of payment. US Priority Mail generally arrives within 2-4 business days of shipment. International Priority mail usually arrives within 7-10 business days. It may take longer if held up in customs. Orders placed on Friday-Sunday will ship the following Monday except on holidays.

Overnight shipping is available. E-mail me for details. Guaranteed 2 day delivery is available via Express Mail. E-mail instructions are available on that as well.

How do you determine condition ratings?

• MINT - No flaws, item appears to be new/unworn.
• NEAR MINT - Like new, no noted flaws.
• EXCELLENT - Previously worn, May have minor flaws that do not detract from the item.
• VERY GOOD - Noted minor flaws that are easily repairable, wearable as purchased.
• GOOD - Noted minor flaws. Wearable after repair or with care.
• FAIR – Numerous flaws. Possibly repairable, wearable.
• AS FOUND – An honest piece damaged beyond repair with value as a costume or for study.
